After a good two months or so of not touching photoshop except to manipulate & edit pictures, I suddenly became inspired by an illustration I saw on Deviantart, and started to draw on photoshop again.
I ended up drawing myself in a scene (which hasn't been finished yet) and so I used it as a profile picture on facebook, and next thing I knew 3 people asked me to draw a cartoon version of themselves too! One of these people I haven't even seen or talked to in over a year, and wasn't particularily aquainted with :P.
Anyways, so I've done one request so far, for my friend Corinna (the curly-haired one). I'm hoping to do 2 more before the 24th, so they can be like a Christmas gift.
I'm quite proud of how much my skill for capturing people's features in an illustration has improved since last year. I think it got particularily good while I was in Quebec this past summer.
